Best Breakfast Cereal

This makes about 12 – 14 generous servings, probably more if you aren’t as hungry as we are in the morning.

 

After a lot of trial and error this recipe for a breakfast cereal has proved to be the best – it’s naturally sweet and of course you can vary the ingredients to suit yourself. Pecans are a good addition, as is a little roasted millet.

 

250g toasted wheat flakes

100g almonds

100g sunflower seeds

100g pumpkin seeds

50g sesame seeds

200g sultanas or a mix of sultanas and raisins

 

Mix it all together and store in an airtight container. Good with a banana sliced over, too.
